I didn't bother with the limit switches, I found it easier to just move the machine back to it's starting position manually before each print. As I used my own extruder, I inherently replaced six of those parts with three.

If you want to use the standard extruder, then you'll need all those parts except the ones for limit switches which are optional.

My video shows every single part I used, right down to the screws, nuts and washers. If you follow it though slowly, it'll show you everything you need.Rajhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06627149512402360258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3702888183741863524.post-33395633303882089782013-03-14T02:46:39.578-07:002013-03-14T02:46:39.578-07:00Oh yeah, I realise I attached the wrong link. Do I need to print the parts listed in Brook's Printrbot (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16990) or just the parts you listed on your youtube video?

Also, I suppose the standard BOM ( http://kitbom.com/kitbom/printrbot ) still applies?Frankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02360085867752920003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3702888183741863524.post-55414512420997253982013-03-10T06:53:05.249-07:002013-03-10T06:53:05.249-07:00I'm not 100% sure but I think as far as all th...I'm not 100% sure but I think as far as all the hardware goes, the only difference would be the screw's that hold the wooden parts together. The machine I built is plastic so that's where the difference is. You might still be able to find the original PDF for the first printrbot, that should help you, otherwise go through my video and note down all the parts. Compared to the parts listed at http://printrbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/LC-BOM-3-4-13.pdf , what more parts do I need or do not need?Frankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02360085867752920003noreply@blogger.com
